initial planning

Form: i am making an animation that will be the first 2 minutes to a larger tv series called 'Alpha Space' 

2) Animation type - the animation will be done mostly in flash due to the styles that flash can give to an animation and i can make it a lot more cartoon like to appeal to my target audience moreso by making it appear more friendly to a younger audience.

3) Selection of genre or style - i think that the genre of my animation would be an action comedy. the show will focus on the action happening in the story but there will be some comical scenes throughout. 

4) Storyline -

Episode one -

Splargh crashes onto earth and warns jayden about the incoming invasion of his species and jayden begins trying to help splargh blend into society 

Episode two

Splargh and jayden try and warn the military about the incoming attack but the aliens have made the military stupid using their stupid rays, splargh says there isnt such a technology that has been invented and the military are just stupid.

Episode Three

Splargh begins to create weapons in the basement, claims to parents that it is a project for the science fair, sent out to get random ingredients for the weapon, like a pidgeon and some sand.

Episode four

The school science fair comes into town and Jayden is entered into it with the weapons that Splargh made, the aliens detect the activation of the tech and begin heading to the planet quicker after stopping at a space taco store

Season finale

The aliens finally attack the planet and our heros find out their only weakness is pizza, so the battle comes to an end with one giant pizza explosion and hundreds of UFO's falling out of the sky.
